  • Costa Rica Retreat 2024

Costa Rica yoga retreat with Maple was pure joy. Maple's planning and attention to detail made travel and the time there simple with plenty of time to unplug, practice yoga, enjoy daily activities, rest and just be. I highly recommend Maple's retreats and will be looking forward to hear about her next one.

Maple is not only an amazing and uplifting yoga instructor, she is a truly wonderful person. Kind, funny and thoughtful -- I enjoyed every yoga session during a week-long retreat to the Costa Rican jungle. Thank you Maple!

  • "I have been taking yoga classes from Maple for over a year. She has extensive knowledge of differing yoga styles and of human anatomy, and combines her knowledge and experience into fun and challenging work-outs. Maple is warm, friendly, considerate and approachable. I can’t imagine having managed this pandemic and my sedentary desk job without Maple’s yoga classes, and I look forward to continuing with her into 2021 and beyond. I highly recommend Maple and Live By Light Yoga!”

  • "Maple's classes are exquisite. They include the perfect mix of clear cuing, thoughtful sequencing, and poses that are both challenging and readily modified . . . all conveyed from a perspective of obvious compassion. They are as informed by yoga philosophy as they are by a welcome sense of humor. Highly recommended!"

  • Costa Rica Retreat 2024

Maple was a fabulous retreat leader throughout the entire experience. She communicated well during the planning stages and remained flexible to individual needs and requests. During the retreat, Maple was fully present and supportive of the participants, and after the retreat, she continued to follow up with questions and requests for feedback. I felt safe and well taken care of!

  • Maple is a wonderful yoga teacher! She's very knowledgeable of different moves impacting the body in different ways and does a great job of providing alternatives if someone is having trouble with a body part (lower back, knees, etc.). Her classes are always a breath of fresh air, both a relaxing environment and a kick butt workout. Would highly recommend.
